The Rail India Conference & Expo 2025, organized by Messe Frankfurt India Trade Fairs, is poised to be a game-changer in this dynamic landscape. Scheduled for April 25, 2025, at The Lalit, New Delhi, the conference will address India’s holistic development of transit and transport, highlighting key projects such as Metro Rail, Mono Rail, Hyperloop, Vande Bharat trains and other developments.

Indian Railways is undergoing a remarkable transformation, driven by initiatives like electrification, renewable energy adoption, the Kavach safety system, and high-speed rail.
The event highlights the theme ‘Indian Railways Excellence: Green, Safe and Modern,’ that reaffirms its commitment to sustainability, safety and cutting-edge innovation, making it a must-attend event for the industry leaders and stakeholders shaping the future of rail transport.
Realising the significance, the government has also powered the railway sector with allocation of a corpus of INR 2,52,000 crore in this fiscal in the recent Union Budget 2025-26. With this allocation, railways also plan to introduce new Vande Bharat Trains and Amrit Bharat Trains rapid rail services soon. Additionally, a corpus of INR 1,16,000 crore has been dedicated to safety enhancements.
With freight corridors being built across India, it will speed-up movement of goods and consignments across the country. Indian Railways is also expected to become the world's second-largest goods carrier by the end of the current fiscal year, transporting an estimated 1.6 billion tonnes of cargo.
